Questions about the Core Web Vitals Snapshot
- What are good Core Web Vitals scores?
- Google rates a page good when, at the 75th percentile of visits, Largest Contentful Paint is 2.5 seconds or less, Interaction to Next Paint is 200 milliseconds or less and Cumulative Layout Shift is 0.1 or less.
- Why is there no field data for my page?
- Field data comes from the Chrome User Experience Report, which covers pages and sites with enough real traffic. Without it, the snapshot shows lab results only.
- What is the difference between field and lab data?
- Field data measures what real visitors experienced over the past 28 days. Lab data is one Lighthouse test in a controlled setting, useful for finding causes. Google's page experience signals use field data.
- How much does the Core Web Vitals Snapshot cost?
- 20 credits per run, shown before the run starts. An AI agent can run the same tool over the REST API or MCP with a workspace API key.
