What the Competitor Keywords checks

List the Google keywords a competitor's site ranks for, with search volume, difficulty and cost per click, sorted into blog topics and keywords worth bidding on.

  • A competitor's top 100 Google keywords by estimated traffic, in the country you choose
  • Search volume, difficulty, search intent and cost per click for each keyword
  • Blog topics: easy searches where people want to learn, with brand searches left out
  • Keywords worth bidding on in Google Ads, with what advertisers pay per click
  • The pages that bring the site the most visits

What it does not do

  • Keywords for one page or folder; the lookup covers the whole domain
  • Keywords ranked outside the country you choose
  • Exact traffic; visits and volumes are estimates
  • Rank tracking for your own site
  • Keywords a competitor bids on in Google Ads

Questions about the Competitor Keywords

How do I find the keywords a competitor ranks for?
Enter the competitor's domain, or any page on it, and choose a country. The tool returns up to 100 keywords for the whole domain, ordered by the visits Google sends it.
How are the blog topics chosen?
A keyword is a blog topic when people search it to learn something, its difficulty is 50 or less, it gets at least 10 searches a month, and it is not a search for the competitor's own name.
Can I use it to plan Google Ads?
It lists searches where people compare or buy, with the cost per click advertisers pay. It does not show which keywords the competitor bids on in Google Ads.
How accurate are the numbers?
Search volume, difficulty and visits are estimates from a search data provider, not figures from Google. Use them to compare keywords with each other rather than as exact counts.
What happens if nothing is found?
A lookup that finds the site but no keywords it ranks for is still charged, because the data provider charges for it, and the report says nothing was found. A lookup for which the provider has no record of the site is refunded.
How much does the Competitor Keywords cost?
35 credits per run, shown before the run starts. An AI agent can run the same tool over the REST API or MCP with a workspace API key.
