TikTok hashtag tracker for marketers: catch every new video on your tag
TikTok's Creative Center shows which tags are rising; an AyeWatch Hashtag monitor sends each new video that uses your campaign tag, with a link.

A TikTok hashtag tracker for marketers should do one thing well: tell you each time a new video uses your campaign tag, while there is still time to reply, repost or thank the creator. AyeWatch does this with a Hashtag monitor, and TikTok's own Creative Center covers the other half of the job, showing which tags are rising in the first place.
Decide which kind of tracker you need
Two kinds of product share the name. Hashtag analytics tools chart reach and volume over weeks. An alert tracker sends you every new post that uses the tag, one by one. AyeWatch is the second kind, and its own TikTok hashtag tracker guide says plainly that it does not show views or trend charts for a tag.
For most campaign work the alert is what you act on. A chart tells you the tag grew on Tuesday; an alert hands you the actual video on Tuesday, with a link, so someone can respond.
Find the tags worth tracking
TikTok publishes its own hashtag ranking in the Creative Center, a public TikTok for Business site. Choose a region and it lists trending tags by rank, with post and view counts, a trend line and some of the creators using each one. When we checked in November 2026, the logged-out page showed the top three and asked visitors to log in or sign up to see more.
Use it to choose tags. It is a browsing tool, so it will not ping you when a new video appears under the tag you picked.
Set up the tracker in AyeWatch
- Open Create a monitor, choose TikTok, then Hashtag.
- Type one tag with no spaces, such as #booktok or your campaign tag.
- Optional: add Only alert me about, for example "videos that show our product in use". AI reads each new video and drops the rest.
- Pick Auto pace or a fixed schedule, and choose where alerts go.
Push notifications and the AyeWatch feed come with every plan. Paid plans add email, Slack, Discord and webhooks, which is handy when a community manager and a paid-social lead both need the same post.
Catch the videos that skip the hashtag
Plenty of creators mention a product and never tag it. Add a TikTok Search monitor with your brand or product name. It reads the newest videos whose captions and text match, so untagged mentions still reach you. One gap to plan around: it cannot hear a brand said out loud in a video with no caption.
A campaign setup in three monitors
| Monitor | What you enter | What it catches |
|---|---|---|
| Hashtag | #yourcampaign | New entries that use the tag |
| Search | Your brand name, filtered to reviews or complaints | Mentions that skip the tag |
| Profile | Each paid creator's tiktok.com link | When a sponsored video goes live, with views at the time of the check |
Each alert shows the caption without the hashtags, the view, like and comment counts, a cover image and a link to the video.
Why search teams should care
Captions are text, and the alerts give you the exact words creators use for your product. That wording is useful raw material for keyword lists, FAQ pages and the answers you want AI search tools to pick up. Save the phrases that keep coming back.
When something else fits better
If your report needs reach curves or share of voice for a tag, AyeWatch is the wrong tool; start with Creative Center's own figures or a social analytics suite. AyeWatch also skips TikTok LIVE, does not read comments and works with public accounts only.
Cost
Start AyeWatch with the free preview, no card needed. As of November 2026, paid plans begin at $9 a month and are billed in monitoring credits, so one campaign tag is a cheap test before you add the Search and Profile monitors.
